1. Não faça confusão:
? four (4), fourteen (14), forty (40)
? five (5), fifteen (15), fifty (50)

2. Hundred, thousand, million, billion, trillion, etc. são escritos no SINGULAR quando sabemos o número exato.
Ex.:
300 = three hundred
7,000 = seven thousand
5,000,000 = five million

3. Hundreds, thousands, millions, billions, trillions, etc. são escritos no PLURAL quando não sabemos o número exato.
Ex.:
hundreds (of people) = centenas (de pessoas)
thousands (of ants) = milhares (de formigas)
millions (of stars) = milhões (de estrelas)
